Each Half Beef Share includes 220+ lbs of packaged beef, cut and packed into a balanced mix of steaks, roasts, slow-cooking cuts, and ground beef.

This is a great option if you want to stock your freezer with high-quality Hoffmann Farms beef without having to place smaller beef orders throughout the year.

What’s Included

A typical Half Beef Share includes approximately:

Steaks

• Ribeye Steaks: 8–12 steaks
• NY Strip Steaks: 10–14 steaks
• Filet Mignon: 8–12 steaks
• Sirloin Steaks: 10–12 steaks
• Flank and/or Skirt Steaks: 6–8 total packages

Roasts & Slow-Cooking Cuts

• Chuck Roasts: 6–10 roasts
• Arm/Rump Roasts: 2–4 roasts
• Short Ribs or Tablitas: 4–6 packages

Ground Beef

• Ground Beef: approximately 130–160 one-pound packages

Because every animal is different, exact package counts and individual steak weights will vary. Some steaks may be larger or smaller, and certain cuts may vary slightly from one animal to the next. Every Half Beef Share is cut using our standard Hoffmann Farms half beef specification and will include at least 220 lbs of packaged beef.

No Cut Sheet Needed

To keep the process simple, this is not a custom cut sheet order.

Your Half Beef Share will be cut according to our standard Hoffmann Farms half beef specification. This gives you a balanced, family-friendly mix of steaks, roasts, slow-cooking cuts, and ground beef without needing to make complicated processing decisions.

Freezer Space Needed

Please make sure you have enough freezer space before ordering.

A Half Beef Share usually requires approximately 8–10 cubic feet of freezer space. A mostly empty chest freezer or upright freezer is recommended.

Once your beef is ready and we have a confirmed delivery date, we will contact you with the final delivery details and payment instructions for the remaining balance.

The remaining balance must be paid before delivery.

Deposit & Transfer Policy

Your $500 deposit reserves a large portion of beef specifically for your order.

Deposits are non-refundable, but if your plans change, your deposit can be transferred to regular Hoffmann Farms store credit for future orders.
