Your order is shipped with dry ice. If your order arrives slightly thawed but still cold to the touch, it is safe to place in your refrigerator or freezer. We only do small batches which means your meat is very fresh. Additionally, your meat is vacuum-sealed to limit exposure to oxygen, which means it can be stored without risk of freezer burn or spoilage, even if it has slightly thawed during delivery.

Our meat is processed using the highest standards of hygiene and safety. We work with trusted local partners who adhere to strict regulations and guidelines set forth by regulatory authorities. Our goal is to provide you with meat products that are fresh, flavorful, and of the highest quality.

Most of our beef, pork, and poultry is processed at USDA-inspected facilities, ensuring it meets all federal safety and quality standards.

In addition, we are beginning to process more of our poultry on-farm under applicable exemptions. This allows us to maintain even higher quality standards, have greater control over the process, and minimize stress on the birds.

No matter the processing method, we are committed to providing safe, high-quality, pasture-raised meat you can trust.

At Hoffmann Farms, we are committed to ethical and sustainable farming practices. Our animals are raised in a natural environment, with access to spacious pastures and clean water. We prioritize their health and well-being by providing them with a balanced diet free from hormones and antibiotics.

No, we do not use hormones or antibiotics in the raising of our animals. We believe in natural, holistic approaches to animal health and well-being, and we strive to provide them with the best possible care.

We source freshly milled feed from a local co-op that uses mostly non-GMO ingredients, like corn and soy that are not known to be genetically modified. However, because it's not certified and cross-contamination can happen in the fields or during transport, we can’t guarantee it’s 100% GMO-free. What we can promise is that we do our best to avoid GMOs whenever possible and prioritize clean, responsibly sourced feed for our animals.
